Saw this ad on someones door at Viacom. Funny thing is that it came out after in ‘02. I thought it was a great picture and ad campaign by reebok. For whatever reason it made me think if censorship and the show All American Muslim that was cancelled.

I actually thought the show had the potential to break stereotypes of the Muslim community. A few days after 9-11 I remember a Iranian classmate of mine at NYU dyeing his hair blond to avoid catching heat for looking like a “Muslim” whatever the heck that means. The image of him changing his look always stuck with me.
